Bodiam was our first moated castle with real water in the moat (complete with monumentally sized koi). The courtyard picture is taken from the top of one of the towers. The one of the three of us shows us seated in the window of what was once the Great Hall, where the Lord and Lady held court. This image is compromised by the five year old yelling for the photographer to hurry up.
